Felt Sense Polyvagal Model Institute
Healing trauma and addiction can feel overwhelming—for professionals seeking effective tools, and for individuals longing for relief. Too often, traditional approaches overlook the body’s wisdom and leave both therapists and clients feeling stuck. The Felt Sense Polyvagal Model Institute was created to change that.

Here, you’ll find a global hub for professional learning, community, and support, grounded in the integration of polyvagal theory, somatic therapy, and the felt sense. Whether you are a therapist, coach, or someone on a personal healing journey, our institute offers a range of courses, certifications, supervision circles, and free events designed to help you stay current with the latest research while building real-world skills. Together, we cultivate resilience and deepen connection, creating a safe nest as we grow and explore together.

Our Mission
At the Felt Sense Polyvagal Model Institute, we are dedicated to transforming the way we understand and heal trauma and addiction. Rooted in embodied awareness, grounded in neuroscience, and inspired by the innate wisdom of the body, our mission is to offer accessible, inclusive education and experiential learning for all people around the world. We are committed to shifting the paradigm from a pathologizing model to a strength based model that celebrates our bodies natural pathways of healing through the vagus nerve and our deep embodied felt sense of experiencing. The Felt Sense Polyvagal Model invites attunement to the language of the body—feelings, sensations, memories, and thoughts—as doorways into healing and co-regulation. If you're brand new to Felt Sense, view Jan Winhall's intro video What is the Felt Sense. We also offer FSPM live and on-demand trainings, certification programs, community practice groups, and free global events that welcome therapists, coaches, educators, and individuals into a compassionate path of embodied transformation.Together, we are building a global learning community devoted to restoring connection to the body, resilience, and safety—healing without shame.

We have forgotten that we live in our bodies, but our bodies have not forgotten us™.
