Course Overview
This 10-week immersive, live online program delivers an embodied, practice-centered approach to healing trauma and addiction through Porges nervous system awareness, Felt Sense Focusing, and the 7 F’s framework that has made the Felt Sense Polyvagal Model so influential. Participants learn the six steps of Focusing, created by Eugene Gendlin, the father of the term Felt Sense. Felt sensing is a powerful tool for tapping into greater self-awareness and inner wisdom. Together we explore this six -step process, helping you to connect with body and mind as it takes you deeper down into body awareness. This journey supports trauma resolution and nervous system resilience. Each person is partnered up with another participant to practice together every week outside of class time. You will practice, feel, and integrate the work in real time with Jan Winhall, trained FSPM facilitators, and a supportive global community.
Program Format
We meet together live online via Zoom for 10 weeks (except holidays). Each week will include a: • 90-minute live session with Jan Winhall and break out rooms with FSPM facilitators • One 60-minute Felt Sensing partnership practice with assigned partner (partners schedule this together at a time that's convenient for you both)
