John applies the Felt Sense Polyvagal Model (FSPM) within the world of software and technology, where he partners with senior leaders and teams to deepen awareness, build adaptive capacity, and navigate complexity through embodied sense-making. Trained and approved to use the FSPM in his domain, he integrates the model into his “Sense-Making Partnerships” — a developmental format that helps leaders move beyond inherited strategies of control or avoidance and into more relational, adaptive forms of knowing and acting.

John’s work bridges FSPM with adult developmental psychology, particularly the Leadership Development Framework (LDF), exploring how somatic regulation and felt sense awareness can support vertical development. By bringing these fields into conversation, he helps leaders not only understand their own developmental edge, but inhabit it more fully — in body, mind, and relationship.

Though originally designed for trauma and addiction treatment, the FSPM offers powerful insights for any context where regulation, safety, and meaning-making are in play — including the high-pressure, fast-moving world of tech. John’s work explores and extends this relevance, helping others experience the model’s depth in new and unexpected ways.
